Wednesday Morning Coffee Ministry
Thoughts from Trinity’s Brew Crew on being a Christian Witness
Each Wednesday, faithful members of Trinity give away free cups of coffee to commuters.  This simple gift shares the warmth of a smile and a prayer for God’s blessings as well as the hot beverage.  Quite often, passersby will not take the free coffee, but stop to express their thanks for our presence.  For many, the smile and free gift is their first contact with Trinity Lutheran Church.

The free coffee ministry is a simple means for evangelism.  Every Wednesday, with a few exceptions, you can be part of the team that provides the free gift to our community.  If you have as little as 30 minutes and as much as 2 hours between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. contact Betty Traugott (407-894-5528).  There are no special skills required and training is on the job.  You don’t even have to like coffee!  If you find your time is restricted due to commuting, orchestrating your family’s morning, or any other reason, please stop and offer a short prayer anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday for those persons we will touch.

We’re Back! (November 2011)
The corner crew has returned for another season of sharing FREE COFFEE. Although the team is small, the coffee is robust, and God love is great! The goal of the Wednesday Morning Free Coffee Ministry is to share a smile, offer a warm greeting and give a gift with no obligation or expectation of anything in return. Jesus gave you a gift of life and hope for eternal peace. Just like our free gift of coffee, there is nothing you do to deserve it; neither is there anything you can do to earn it. No cost to you. Free. Take the gift and your life will never be the same.
