"Because
I came straight from camp, I came into the National Youth Gathering
with a heart full of understanding of God's story and feeling
confident in my faith. I feel like the National Youth Gathering
just strengthened this feeling. My favorite part is that I
am serious. Let me explain...Sometimes, when I go to events
like this, I just say say something like "This experience
changed my life. And from now on, I will..." because that
is what is expected of you. But now, I can honestly say that
those two weeks (Camp Lonestar and the National Youth Gathering)
have changed my life, forever. I always knew that God had a
plan for my life, but now I have realized that I am worth something
in his eyes and to not base my worth on earthly things, but
on His love, forgiveness and in my Savior, Jesus Christ. God
loves me and I know that sounds cliche, but I feel like I understand
that better now. I can feel His presence everywhere I am! I
that there is so much more to learn and I also feel that being
surrounded by 25,000 youth, who are in my same position, made
me realize that all of this..God's love and pure awesomeness..is
so excited and something that is not supposed to be shown and
taught at large conventions like NYG, but also in my everyday
life. And now, I feel ready to start a new chapter of my life
and am eager to learn more about what He has done for me" ~

Confirmation
Classes:
The rite of confirmation is an important
milestone in the life of a young Christian when the student
affirms the promises that were made at Baptism. Trinity’s
two year confirmation program begins in sixth grade. All Trinity
school
students receive confirmation instruction as part of the religion
curriculum.
All non TLS students meet about twice a month on Sunday afternoon
for first year instruction. All seventh grade students regardless
of where they attend school meet on Sunday afternoon also.
Older students not yet confirmed will be handled on a case
by case basis. Acolyte
Training: Children
in confirmation are trained how to carry the cross and
to light candles during Sunday
worship services. Contact the Church Office, 407-422-5704. For
meeting times & places please check the Triune and/or
contact
Board of
Youth Ministries at
407-422-5704 for more information.
The schedule changes from month to month.
