Welcome to In the Light, Trinity’s high school youth group! We invite all students from 9th through 12th grades to join us for Bible studies, fun activities, and meaningful service events. Check out our calendar – if you have any questions, click on Contacts at the left and email us.
Ephesians 5:8 is the basis for our name and our mission: "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light." Our name "In the L.I.G.H.T." reflects our desire to fulfill this mission by Living In Grace, Holiness, & Truth.
Three of our members helped out the Human Care Board by volunteering at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission Easter luncheon held on Good Friday. Thanks to Trey Poole, Kevin Hinton, and Peter Hinton for a super job of dishing out food and setting and cleaning up tables!
Mother’s Day is coming up soon – Sunday, May 11 - so please be ready to volunteer some time between services to take orders for corsages. We will be taking orders on the following Sundays: April 20, April 27, and May 4, and then distribute the corsages prior to each service on May 11.
Trinity’s Vacation Bible School for 2008 will be held the week of June 16. Many of the youth volunteered last year and had a great time! If you’d like to volunteer or find out more information, contact Deaconess Liz Borth at eborth@trinitydowntown.org.
