| MIDDLE SCHOOL
Trinity Lutheran Middle School curriculum is designed to give
all middle school students a firm foundation in the fundamental
areas of language arts, mathematics, science (including labs),
social studies, and religion. Additionally, all students receive
instruction in physical education, Spanish, music, art, and computer.
Music electives include band, choir, and handbells. A multi-track
program in mathematics enables students to participate in a program
that meets their individual needs and abilities. Smaller class
sizes in mathematics, Spanish, art, and computer allow for more
individualized instruction. An aggressive program in Accelerated
Reading enhances the middle school student’s language arts
program.
Extra-curricular sports programs are available in soccer, volleyball,
basketball, track, golf, and cheerleading.
Co-curricular programs including spelling bee, mathematics competition,
Quiz Bowl, student council, National Junior Honor Society, drama
presentations, geography bee, Sea Camp, and learning fair are available
to all middle school students.
Annual class trips include Outdoor Education to Driftwood Education
Center in Georgia for the 6th grade, and alternating destinations
of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. for 7th and 8th
grade students.
