Trinity Child Development Center

Trinity Lutheran Church has established its child care ministry upon the conviction that God loves each child individually and dearly.

We believe that God has given each child a distinct personality, an infinite curiosity, a great capacity to love and a desire to be loved. Our child care program provides a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, spiritual, social and emotional development of each child under our care. We carry out that commitment within the context of the love God has for everyone.

In 1953, Trinity congregation started its school with a single kindergarten class. The school has grown to include pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. In 1983 the church recognized that the large number of people employed in the downtown area present an opportunity for ministry through child care. In response to that need, a residence on Ruth Street was renovated and dedicated in 1983 for Trinity Lutheran Child Development Center.
