Advent Dinner
Start your Christmas preparations off with an Advent dinner on Wednesday, December 2, hosted by our school’s PTL, followed by “Lessons and Carols” at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary. This is a beautiful, historic service of readings and carols led by Trinity’s parish choir and instrumentalists. Begin a new family tradition with this service and invite your friends and neighbors!

Community
Outreach
The
Compassion Corner, a relational and service referral ministry
to the homeless, is seeking volunteers. There are a number
of ways to serve (i.e., donate toiletries, coffee supplies,
socks, bus passes, Bibles), but we especially need individuals
who can donate some time during the operating hours of 8:30-11am.
and 1-3 pm., Mon-Fri. No experience or special skills are
needed, other
than a heart for the hurting. In January we re-opened at
our new location at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Our
building
is located at 425
N. Magnolia Ave., directly
across the street from the backside of the main courthouse.
Please contact Compassion Corner at 407-488-1919 x128, please leave a message.
What
is your plan to provide for your family's future and ministries
you care about?
"For
I know the plans for you," declares the Lord, "plans
to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
Planning
for your family and gifts to ministry takes time and dedication.
The LCMS Foundation can help you by creating a Lifetime Plan
for Giving. Your local gift planning counselor can develop
a plan that assures you'll provide for your family and support
the ministries that are important to you.
Your
counselor can meet with you and provide charitable expertise
and tax-advantaged strategies to plan and direct your passion
for giving. For more than 50 years, The LCMS Foundation has
helped Christians discover the joy of giving to family and
all ministries of the church.
God
knows His plans. We can help with yours.

So What's the Catch?
The grocery store gives a free item after you purchase one. You will receive a rebate for full purchase after you submit the proper form and proof of purchase. The political hopeful promises to deliver after you vote. Too often gifts are based on a conditional response. However, each Wednesday morning, Trinity ambassadors give away coffee to any one passing by without conditions. If you find it hard to believe, check out the corner of E. Livingston and Rosalind between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. each week. The free gift of coffee even comes with a smile and prayer for a blessed day.
We receive so much more from our Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, as a free gift. Forgiveness and salvation are the eternal free gifts given to all people without condition. If you would like to be part of this ministry to our neighbors in Orlando, contact Betty Traugott or the church office. (read

Gift
Giving
The Trinity PTL is offering just what you need to help complete your Christmas shopping: gift cards (a/k/a scrip)! You can purchase gift cards to use at your favorite stores to buy gifts or use the cards themselves as gifts. Please use the attached order form to place your order for gift cards from any of the many stores listed. The PTL buys the cards at a discounted rate and makes a small profit on each card you purchase even though you are paying face value – it is a “win win” situation! Please submit your order form by December 5 so we can place one large order. Contact Colette Reid if you have any questions. (Scrip
